Sign Zone is one of Limerick’s leading manufacturers of signs. We design and manufacture high quality bespoke signage, safety signs, vehicle graphics and self adhesive decals. Managing director Brendan Naughton has over 30 years experience in the sign industry, formally managing director of Sign It Print and Sign Co. We are situated on the Dock Road, Limerick in a purpose built facility, a truly modern and bright new premises. You will find this to be a varied and fulfilling role. We currently have an opportunity for a trainee sign maker to join our team What's on Offer 11 month contract, with possibility of going permanent 40 hour week 8.30am to 1pm / 1.30pm or 5pm Salary €20,000 per annum Experience not necessary as Training will be provided. You will be responsible for the following tasks: Production of vinyl graphics and full colour prints using software such as Adobe Illustrator Application of prints onto backing materials and finishing product Preparing goods for dispatch Operate precision equipment such as wide format digital printers, vinyl plotters and laminators Operate and maintain equipment and adhere to preventative maintenance Maintaining stock levels, ordering supplies Facilitating collection of goods Responsible for ensuring a high standard of housekeeping Support team members with other tasks as and when necessary Responsible for ensuring that all Health and Safety Policies are adhered to Carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant within any manufacturing area. There may be some off site work SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - The successful applicant must possess the following: Ability to work on your own initiative Ability to adhere to schedules and achieve production targets Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
