We are currently seeking a Senior Training Specialist to join our team. What will you do? The Senior Training Specialist is part of the Learning and Development team. This position works independently to conduct analysis, design, develop and deliver effective learning programs for clinical and non-clinical audiences. As we prepare for our next phase of growth, you will act as a critical member of the L&D team. In addition, you will: Facilitate instructor-led training on MDLIVE products, software and internal business procedures for employee and client audiences in person and via web conferencing tools Perform as lead facilitator for assigned projects, conducting train the trainer sessions for new or junior level facilitators Maintain training platform/environment used to deliver training Apply instructional design theories, practice and methods to design, develop and maintain classroom and online learning programs Effectively collaborate with and act as liaison between the Learning and Development team, product owners and subject matter experts, to identify target audiences’ training needs, determine instructional goals, and create content Perform admin tasks such as scheduling classes, coordinating enrollment, and tracking course completions and evaluations Continually develop knowledge, understanding and application of principles, theories, and concepts in the learning field, and stay current with new learning trends and technologies and uses that information to improve coursework Organize and plan training initiatives, in line with project deadlines and expectations Administer the LMS including creating/modifying course components and configurations, running reports, account setup and maintenance and troubleshooting access and use issues. Develop and revise LMS administration guidelines and procedures Act as a backup for a technical provider training Monitor the department Mailbox, answer questions, and troubleshoot problems Most importantly, you will be part of an entrepreneurial, agile and fast-paced team that also knows how to have fun! Bachelor's degree in a related field required Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a training and development position that includes instructional design, facilitation, assessment, and evaluation Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of audiences Proven effective presentation and facilitation skills Strong knowledge and proven application of adult learning principles and practice, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation Ability to assess training needs, write effective learning objectives and think creatively to devise new and more efficient training strategies Demonstrated experience with development of course curriculum and training materials Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical processes, Electronic Health Records and/or Practice Management Proven experience with Articulate Storyline and/or Camtasia Experience using Audacity or other audio editing and recording software Proven experience using GoToTraining or other online learning platforms Experience using Learning Management Systems, preferably Litmos Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills; attention to detail Strong computer skills and expertise in using MS Office Strong knowledge of technical software concepts and an ability to quickly understand product functionality in the context of its business application Ability and willingness to perform as a team leader on multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with high expectations for quality Self-starter; highly motivated; able to work with minimal supervision Interested?
