The Warehouse Specialist will perform the following duties: Support warehouse operations, assists in the scheduling receipt and shipment of equipment, materials, and supplies across CONUS and OCONUS IAW appropriate regulations governing shipments based upon category. Move supplies, materials, etc. to locations on the Customer Campus. Unpack, inventory and catalog equipment and equipment parts. Verify manifest lists against actual shipments. Position stock, equipment etc. based upon priority of use, work, and classification. Monitor and track equipment and maintains accurate warehouse inventory controls. Maintain facility logs and other files as necessary to document job status. Work from and maintain necessary supply/warehouse documentation in accordance with warehouse procedures and responds immediately to customer requirements. Unpack, inventory and catalog equipment and equipment parts. Verify manifest lists against actual shipments Assist in the shipping and monitoring of equipment processing, part and material handling storage and classification during warehouse operations. Employs both hand and power trucks to include forklifts to move/reposition equipment, supplies, etc. within the warehouse facility and Campus. Perform duties in the areas of equipment receipt; assign storage location and moves to the designated storage location within the warehouse. Ensure the warehouse is safe. Responsible to ensure equipment/property is properly documented e.g. DA Forms 3161s, 2765, etc. submitted, and accounted for. Plan, schedule, receive and ship equipment, materials, supplies across CONUS and OCONUS IAW appropriate regulations governing shipments based upon category. Work from and maintain necessary repair/warehouse records in accordance with warehouse procedures. Work to improve where applicable, warehouse procedures to improve overall service to respective Government offices and responds immediately to customer requirements Requirments: HS/GED w/ 1 year experience. As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties, which require an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan. Work involves most of the following: Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damage; Routing materials to prescribed storage locations; Storing stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods’ rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; Removing material from storage and preparing for shipment. May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehouse activities. Must be experienced in the safe handling and transportation of equipment in accordance with established SOP’s. Must have experience in conducting equipment inventory and maintaining property accountability documentation. Security Clearance: Secret
