To support our growth we are looking for Senior System Engineers. As a Senior System Engineer you will be expected in maintaining our customer's SAP infrastructure. You will work with other experienced professionals in a highly team-oriented environment. Communication within the oXya team is open and collegial. You will be working closely with our customer’s IT staff, third-party industry specialists, functional consultants and coders, hence strong communication skills are required. Daily responsibilities? Resolving incidents, often on business-critical systems. Searching solutions for specific customer requests. Troubleshooting complex problem situations and identify preventive measures/ improvements to processes, procedures or tools and implement these as required. Reviewing system performance statistics. Performing configuration modifications & fixes. Participating in SAP Basis component upgrades and migration projects (e.g. S/4HANA upgrades). Installing and maintaining servers, operating systems, and network equipment. Manage SAP BC technical operations: Transport management, Perform and understand refresh operations, Client copy/ Kernel upgrade, Printers management, Handle and perform first analysis on incidents: Find OSS notes, Daily checks and daily report analysis, Basis scheduler and backup tools, OS and DB (basic tasks). Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all operational security and emergency procedures. Developing expertise on specific SAP technologies & Procedures. Transferring knowledge to the rest of the team. Who are we looking for? Master or Bachelor with strong IT background. Proven hands on experience with a wide range of:, Operating systems, Databases & Managing installations, upgrades an OS/DB migrations. Good interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and customers. English speaking is required, speaking Dutch is a big plus. Responsible & independent. Eager to learn. Focused on the customer. Analytical; problems are put into context & you look for supplemental, relevant info. Stress resistant; you continue to perform effectively and efficiently under time-pressure, in cases of setbacks, new projects,… No former SAP BC knowledge is required. What’s in it for you?
