Are you a professional caregiver looking for private home care clients? Want to earn more money compared to working through a traditional care agency? We are looking for caregivers to work in Vancouver and surrounding areas. myCareBase is an online platform that connects families who are caring for an aging loved one, with caregivers looking for work. We help families and paid caregivers facilitate the hiring process, and then offer a set of online tools which provide an ongoing central channel for communications and task documentation. We want to help you find more clients! We are seeking people who are registered health care assistants, care aides, or those experienced in providing companionship and personal care services to seniors. You set your own hourly rates, and have control of when and where you want to work. There is no cost to be included on our platform. Accepted candidates will go through an interview and vetting process to ensure a consistent level of quality on our platform. This process will include a job reference check (so please be prepared to provide at least 1 job reference) and a criminal background check for those that don't have a recent one already done. Job Type: Part-time Experience: caregiver: 1 year (Required) Licence: CPR (Preferred) Duties: Assisting clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed Assisting clients with housekeeping or other daily errands Providing companionship and emotional support Observing and reporting on changes in the health or status of the client Administering medication
