We're looking for an experienced learning organizational development leader to join our global learning and leadership development team. The best bird for this role is highly skilled with OD tools and interventions, demonstrates exceptional partnership skills and is a highly effective communicator. An ideal candidate will set strategy, partner with key stakeholders, people partners, talent acquisition and people analytics professionals to support our highly-matrixed business functions. With a strong background in learning interventions, this role will partner closely with the business-focused learning functions to support global business objectives. Working in tandem with the Sr People Partners, you will craft a strategic plan for supporting and advancing the business functions. This two-way facing role will align the business functions with key organizational messages, topics and content while bringing critical data and needs from the business to the global learning function. You will design, develop and deliver stellar content to support the growing learning, development and performance needs within our business. Core Responsibilities: Support the bluebird business strategy and accelerate our True Blue culture through learning and organizational development projects: accurately diagnose organizational issues, develop potential solutions and recommend change initiatives as appropriate Partner with key stakeholders, people partners, function leaders, talent acquisition and people analytics to design, develop and implement business focused development support, including functional onboarding, and other functional and developmental learning Consult with business leaders to identify and clarify business processes and implement programs that connect employees with critical business goals Collaborate on the design, development and implementation of functional and organization-wide tools, competencies and models (ie Change, Decision Making, etc.) Collaborates with other learning partners and people partners to ensure consistent approaches and leveraging of best practices Works closely with other people & culture professionals to ensure alignment of programs and processes which enable and encourage bluebird leadership behaviors Proactively builds credibility and ability to influence with sr leadership Develop and facilitate team-building and skill building exercises and workshops within their dedicated functions Collaborate with functional leaders to identify specific work situations requiring our birds to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and technologies Develop methods of measuring performance in alignment with organizational goals Partner with Leadership Development, Professional Development and D&I resources to ensure alignment of content across the organization Demonstrate strong performance coaching skills and the ability to coach business leaders and others Qualifications: 7-10 years and a proven track record with management, organizational development and learning initiatives, including organization design. Able to design, implement and achieve expected results from these initiatives Understanding of business fundamentals in a global, matrixed environment. Functional expertise across multiple business disciplines is desired Strong leadership presence with the ability to build credibility with leaders at all levels Acts as a positive change agent and is highly adaptable to changes in the work environment; juggles and manages competing priorities and demands Strong learning and development orientation and mindset including facilitation, content development, organizational diagnosis and measurement, loves to grow and develop self and others Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and advanced presentation and facilitation skills Excellent meeting management skills, including design, preparation and facilitation Excellent organization, time management and project management skills, able to balance multiple projects and initiatives Demonstrates courage and transparency with the ability to deal with challenge and conflicts Experienced with organizational development, talent strategy, 360 and other assessments Insights Discovery certification is desired Coaching certification is desired Be ready to embrace the principles of the bluebird bio culture: b colorful, b cooperative, and b yourself.
