You will support the Universal Credit Team leader in monitoring and managing the rent accounts of tenants in receipt of Universal Credit. Your role will require close working with income and sustainment teams in providing high quality welfare information and advice to tenants and signposting to other agencies acting on behalf of the organisation. You will be responsible for supporting the investigation and implementation of initiatives to minimise the impact of welfare reform and, particularly the introduction of Universal Credit, on the business. You will also need to work with external partners and agencies to identify various options for tenants to mitigate the impact of welfare reform; and safeguard the organisation’s income.
