Art is no longer being taught at schools; we’re creating a movement to make art matter and show the population about its importance in our lives. With positive effects on mental health, development, and education - art is a vital component of our everyday lives. With our 20 years of teaching experience, we’ve produced an art programme so unique and effective that our children on average stay with art-K for four years. Our programme is based on four core skills (visual memory, fine motor control, spatial awareness and visual perceptual skills) and is personalised to each individual student. We are a people-focused company, dedicated to our student’s artistic development. We currently have 30+ branches - 18 we directly own while the rest are franchises. We teach adults and children aged 6 to 16. With role, we’re looking for someone to cover our branches in Ashtead, Dorking, and Walton-on-Thames. However, please let us know if you’re available to cover any our other clubs. We are looking to recruit Freelance Art Teachers who are able to cover ad-hoc absences when our full-time employees are not at work. This could be covering a sickness, leading weekly sessions, or teaching a workshop for a longer period of time e.g 2 weeks of workshops over the summer holidays.
