Recently moved to a larger premises in Melbourne's Northern suburb Somerton, we are looking for warehousing and logistics staff to join our team. The Role This role is a senior warehousing role suitable for people who have a fork lift license and experience working in a warehouse environment. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the roles and responsibilities for this position will include but not be limited to the following: Running day-to-day operations of the warehouse and dispatch department Overseeing and assisting with incoming and outgoing deliveries Picking and Packing Processing orders and raising dispatch notifications Optimising warehouse and racking layouts to ensure efficient space utilisation This will be a diverse role with plenty of room to grow within the company The Person In order to be successful for this position, you must possess: Experience within a similar role, preferably within international logistics or manufacturing industry Skills to operate a forklift effectively and safely Previous experience raising and processing orders Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ability to communicate effectively with both internal staff and external clients Have a good eye for detail and quality Have proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Have the ability to learn and grow within the role Coaching will be offered for the right person who is looking to progress in their career joining this well-respected company.
