Day to day you'll be part of a team developing cutting edge solutions and research for complex problems across some truly expansive data-sets in a telecom environment. Required Skills/Experience: Degree in Technology 1+ year in software development, primarily Python. A second language (e.g. Scala), is a plus Hands-on experience with common developer tools: GitLab, PyCharm, etc Experience in database technologies, particularly MySQL Good experience in the Linux environment Self-driven, quick learner with attention to detail and quality Desirable: Familiarity with agile development methodologies Experience with visualization tools & technologies such as Tableau Exposure to the big data stack and tools: Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Impala, Spark etc.
