We're looking for a Director of Human Resources with solid experience in the technology industry to support and assist with developing the complete Zinier India team member life cycle. This role requires initiative, developing HR & L&D programs and good communication skills to build trusting relationships with Bangalore management level team members. Job Responsibilities Own the delivery and effectiveness of core people team processes and responsibilities for India employee life-cycle activities such as benefits, employee relations, senior management engagement, policy management, Develop and maintain programs for on-boarding, performance management, employee engagement, and professional development. Zinier is focused on learning & development for staff as a priority in 2020. Act as a business partner to Bangalore based teams and functional leadership as well as a hands-on generalist for the company for all things people-related. Proactively and thoughtfully address workplace and employee relations issues on an individual and systematic basis. Assist key stakeholders within the Engineering management team with building employee development and engagement programs. Partner with the VP People and recruiting teams to enact initiatives, develop flexible HR programs as Zinier grows in staff size and revenue globally. Develop and manage thoughtful HR policies and practices that fairly balance the interests of all team members and are consistent with the culture of the company Manage and develop the India People team members. Requirements 8 + years of HR experience including 3+ years of management experience. Must have worked in a high-tech environment, preferably in the SaaS field Strong HR functional expertise including employee life-cycle development and management. Zinier must have a hands-on practitioner who can perform work by themselves and not rely upon staff support Outstanding interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal. Zinier is a very fast growing start-up and the ideal candidate has experience with executing on projects and programs quickly for maximum impact. The ability to communicate effectively to all stakeholders and to build relationships at all levels of the organization Comfortable and willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done as well as take full ownership of outcomes. Must have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgement Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information with the ability to exercise discretion and show good judgment; honesty, integrity, and trust building behaviors in all dealings is essential and required. Proven ability / past experience working with US based headquarters office staff.
