We are currently seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to be based in Adelaide, but deployed on a 3:1 roster for works throughout South Australia. This is an initial 3-month fixed term contract position with the possibility of extension. The primary purpose of this role is to support a team delivering construction and maintenance of electricity transmission networks by the safe and effective operation of associated plant and equipment. About the role: Labouring and support duties for trades person,. Where qualified, some plant operations, Supervision of other non-trades people working on site, and Undertaking minor ancillary works as required. About you: Construction White Card. CPR trained. High risk work licence. Demonstrated ability to recognise and solve problems in the workplace. Willing to travel. Proven ability to work productively as part of a team, in a fast paced and changing workplace. This role with suit a highly motivated and engaging individual who is results driven and thrives in a fast-paced working environment. Initially this is a 3-month fixed term contract leading to potential permanent placements. Please note: You must possess a current Australian driver’s licence as regional travel and working away from home will be a requirement for this role.
