Job Duties Complete tasks as outlined by Site Supervisor Maintain construction sites in a clean and safe condition Assist with construction related activities such as temporary hoardings, site fences, dewatering, site general clean up, installation of guardrails, offloading trucks, organize sea cans for material, etc. Site hours consist of Monday to Friday 7AM-4PM with the occasional Saturday if needed. Qualifications Minimum of 1-year experience in related field Basic carpentry skills Able to use power tools Own transportation Able to work with minimal supervision Willingness to gain skills and develop proficiency in many areas of construction Self-motivated Team player with a positive attitude Able to lift >50 lb Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. Load or unload construction materials. Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding and/or guardrails. Follow instructions from supervisors. Must have valid driver license and own vehicle Be at least 18 years of age. Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks. Ability to work in all weather. Must be punctual and reliable. Excellent stamina. Tickets for use in telehandler/skid steer considered an asset Wage depends on experience. The project duration schedule is 6-12 months. The site is located in Strathroy Ontario, there is no public transportation available. Contract length: 12 months Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 /hour Experience: construction: 1 year (Preferred) Location: Strathroy, ON (Preferred)
