Zerella Fresh is one of Australia’s largest grower and packers of Carrots, Onions and Potatoes supplying Australia’s leading supermarket chains. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated operator of harvesters, tractors and sprayers to join our team on a full-time permanent basis at our Parilla site located in the Murray Mallee, South Australia. Key Accountabilities: Undertake planting, cultivation and harvesting duties Operate and control the use of equipment in the production of horticultural and broad acre crops Operate and maintain spray equipment Operate tow behind or self-propelled sprayers Timely application of chemical and nutrient mixes to crops as required Maintain, repair, and complete basic level maintenance on farm machinery Maintain logs and records as per company procedures Observe and comply with all health and safety policies and procedures Weekend and night work will be required in line with production demands. To be successful in the role you will need following: Self Motivated Honest Full / unrestricted drivers license Experienced in the use of harvesters / tractors / sprayers Good Communication Skills Excellent attitude Previous experience is required either working as a harvest or/and spray operator. Machinery operating ability is a must. Applicants must live nearby Parilla or be willing to relocate. This is a permanent position and a suitable remuneration package will be tailored to the applicant’s experience and requirements. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year Work Eligibility: No work eligibility is required, I am willing to sponsor the right candidate (e.g. visa) (Preferred)
