Our client, a company engaged in ultrasonic rail flaw detection and testing, requires a full-time, experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technologist to assist with daily operations. Overall tasks: · Designing and reviewing blueprint designs for mechanical parts. · Creating test plans based on product requirements and specifications, conducting tests, identifying and reporting bugs, analysing and reporting on meaningful test results, notifying on any problematic issues, and monitoring quality. · Machine and equipment operations, maintenance, troubleshoot and repair. · Organising and managing project labour, site and equipment · Preparing reports and documentation. Salary: $100,000 To be considered for this role you must have: · Bachelor degree or higher qualifications; · Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a mechanical engineer technologist; · Fluent English; · Creativity and analytical skills; · Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner; · Technical writing skills.
