Business Controller Vision Care Benelux Zaventem & Breda We are a leading player in the optical and opto-electronic industry. The Business Controller provides the Business Unit Manager Vision Care and the Finance Director with timely financial and analytic support of the Benelux operations and oversees the accuracy of accounting. The Business Controller is responsible for the weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting. The focus of the job is on the commercial and financial controlling of the Business Unit Vision Care in the Benelux. What does your day look like? You support and challenge the Commercial Management and analyze results (financials, sales & marketing campaigns,…) to improve future decision making You independently review financial performance and analyze variances vs. last year and budget You complete the reporting, forecasting & budgeting in cooperation with local sales management and headquarters You advise and challenge the Business Unit in Customer Contract management You lead or participate in key strategic Vision Care projects You identify business processes that need improvement and be a catalyst for process improvement You provide guidance to Corporate Reporting requirements. Analyze, understand and articulate the effects of changes in accounting to the Finance Director. You support external and/or internal accountants You assure compliance with local GAAP and IFRS You manage the Year-End closing processes including finalizing local Annual reporting. What do we expect from you? We expect that you have a master’s degree in Finance or a bachelor’s degree with relevant working experience. We also ask that you have a few years of professional reporting experience, preferably in a multinational corporation where you gained a strong knowledge in Business Analysis and decision-making support. Experience in pricing, marketing and sales controlling is a plus. You are a problem solver with good analytical and excel skills. Experience with PowerBI and SAP is an asset. In addition to Dutch and English, you also have a very good knowledge of French. You are flexible and able to work to tight deadlines.
