About York Region Respite Care
York Region Respite Care offers respite services to families both in-home as well as our Day Program location. We are currently looking to hire motivated, outgoing and dependable staff for in home respite services. Qualifications PSW, DSW, SSW or 3 or more years related experience. Experience with persons with a Developmental Disability and/or other special. Must be reliable and flexible. Must be able to work days, evenings and weekends. Must be caring, compassionate and want to make a difference in peoples lives. Duties would include but not limited to: Personal hygiene Light housekeeping Light meal prep Feeding Socialization (various activities) Completing progress reports and charting. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year Experience: Support Care: 3 years (Preferred) Location: Newmarket, ON (Preferred)
