Yonder, a dynamic & fast-growing Building Physics Consultancy, are looking for a motivated and collaborative Finance Assistant to join our busy team in fantastic Leeds City Centre offices. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant / bookkeeper who enjoys a varied workload. You will be a confident, team player possessing excellent organisational skill and a good sense of humour. We consider this role vital to the smooth running of the company and you will be a key member of our fun & friendly team. Full or Part Time may be considered Hours: Mon-Fri Excellent package for the right candidate. Your Responsibilities: · General bookkeeping · Processing of purchase ledger invoices · Monthly purchase ledger statement reconciliations · Creation of weekly payment runs · Assisting with sales invoicing · Assisting with the preparation of monthly cash flow · Credit control including weekly chasing of debtors · Assisting with month-end and ad-hoc reporting · Reconciling bank and credit card statements · Filing of clients’ VAT Returns · Management accounts About you: You will be a strong team player, but with the ability to work independently, & able to prioritise a busy, varied workload Enthusiastic, passionate with excellent attention to detail, you will ideally come from a finance background and possess the following skills and experience: · Bookkeeping experience · Attention to detail · Well organised · Problem solving and issue resolution · Good telephone manner · Good MS windows and Office skills - experience of Xero and advantage What's on offer? · Competitive salary (dependent upon experience, qualifications or training.) · Generous holiday allowance · Company Pension Scheme · Fantastic offices in Leeds Centre – minutes from train station Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Experience: finance: 1 year (Preferred)
