Working in Field Sales We have an impressive Premise workforce at Yell. Having over 200 field based Business Development Managers who work for us making us the largest in the UK and Ireland. As a Business Development Manager using a consultative approach, you would own and work a defined local territory having the opportunity to manage your own portfolio generating valuable brand new relationships with brand new and existing customers. We'll provide you with a first class sales training course and ongoing support after that. The sky is then the limit, having an uncapped commission scheme making earning potential high, as well as a car allowance/company car and extra benefits on top for our Premise division. Working in Telesales Our Belfast and Birmingham office are where our Call Centres sit at Yell. As a Telesales Consultant at Yell you are responsible for acquiring new customers, making appointments for our field based team and helping existing customers make the most of their chosen marketing solutions. You can imagine these sites get pretty noisy! You are surrounded by teams doing the exact same role making it an extremely buzzing, fast paced and enjoyable working environment. Sales experience is not always a must to become a Telesales Consultant at Yell. We will take you through an initial Sales training programme and will offer ongoing coaching and support to ensure you have everything you need to succeed and build a great career in sales. Corporate opportunities Yell has many corporate functions too. Our Reading office being our Head Office and the home to our experienced Technology, Marketing, Product, HR and Finance teams. We also have our exceptional Onboarding and Customer Operations teams nestled nicely in our Scarborough and Birmingham sites.
