Roles & Responsibilities Specific Responsibilities: Support MD in running the day-to-day business and oversight for all activities in the 4 business divisions and support functions. Manage the P&L of the Singapore business and each of the 4 business divisions. Provide strategic inputs in term of market and competitor information to help shape the direction of the business in Singapore. Manage Cost & Drives Productivity. Represent the company to liaise with local government authorities and agencies. Facilitate negotiation with vendors with high and immediate impact to the business. Drive Organisational Development. Undertake strategic discussion with business division GM to chart the direction of specific initiative and drive improvement. Project management for Logistics and together with other division GMs. Interaction with key customers to drive revenue and profitability. Identify & Groom Talents. Keen sense of sussing out business opportunities. Drive Business Development. Job Specifications/Requirements: Bachelor or higher Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain, business management or related disciplines. 15+ years of relevant experience at senior/management level within the Logistics or Supply Chain verticals. Possess leadership skills and prior experience in heading up a similar team and office. Extensive product knowledge in Logistics Business. Experience and Knowledge of Logistics Business in the Asia Pacific markets. Must possess prior experiences in Sales and Marketing of Logistics related business. Ability to develop and maintain important client relationships. Proven track record of driving best practices, improving productivity & profitability throughout operations with leading-edge management practices, innovative use of technology, cost reduction strategies and high-quality investment decisions. A track record of success in managing, mentoring, coaching and directing employees; experience in developing staff and promoting growth within the organisation. Computer software experience in MS Office. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Fluent in English & Japanese languages (speaking & writing) as this position is required to liaise with Japanese Clients. JLPT proficiency N1 or N2 preferred.
