JOB OPPORTUNITY - Program Manager (CIFT, ISSP & Social Work) Youthdale Treatment Centres is a fully accredited Children’s Mental Health organization with a mission to provide children, adolescents and their care-givers access to the best available psychiatric care and support, restoring hope, and helping individuals reach their full potential. Youthdale is seeking to recruit a fulltime Program Manager (CIFT, ISSP & Social Work). The Program Manager will support the operationalization of Youthdale’s strategic objectives, ensuring that their assigned programs and services meet legislative standards, best practice and professional standards. The ideal candidate for this position, is a dynamic and self-motivated person with direct experience in providing individual and family therapy, case management and clinical supervision. Hours: 37.5 hours/week - Monday to Friday, on-call requirements Status: Permanent Full-Time Position Summary As a member of the inter-professional Clinical and Community Programs Team, and reporting to the Senior Director, Clinical and Community Programs, the Program Manager (CIFT, ISSP & Social Work) will provide clinical and administrative oversight of the CIFT and ISSP programs, as well as social workers assigned to the Crisis Service Inpatient Program. Programs/services reporting to the Manager: 1. Centre for Individual and Family Therapy (CIFT) providing individual and family therapy and case management services to residential and day treatment services. 2. Intensive Support and Supervision Program (ISSP), a comprehensive mental health care and case management service for youth who qualify under the YCJA s.42(2)(i) for a community sentencing option as an alternative to custody. 3. Social Workers assigned to inpatient service (Acute Support, Transitional Psychiatric, and Transitional Age). Areas of Responsibilities « Areas of Responsibilities are reflective of current requirements at the time of recruitment, and could change before and after hiring to meet organizational needs. Clinical · Collaborate with the Senior Director and the Clinical and Community Program Team regarding the planning and development of services and programs · Ensure and be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of assigned programs and services and the achievement of clinical and targeted program outcomes · Provide team leadership, clinical oversight and regular individual and group supervision of social work, CIFT and ISSP therapists to meet identified objectives · Clinical supervision is focused on self-reflection, offering staff an opportunity to process the impact of situations, the development of coping strategies, and professional development Administrative · Monitor workload, caseloads and QI indicators ensuring service targets are met and to support program decision making · Lead staff hiring, annual performance evaluations and tracking of required certifications · Oversee orientation of new hires as per the policies and procedures of Youthdale · Ensure compliance and completion of required documentation (clinical records, documentation in CYSIS, CAFAS etc.). · Complete reports per MCCSS/CYFSA requirements A detailed job description is available upon request Qualifications · A Masters of Social Work degree or related field. · Registration with relevant professional regulatory body. · 5-7 years of clinical experience working with children, youth and/or their families. · 2-5 years of experience providing direct clinical supervision. This may include experience supervising practicum students. · Knowledge of and/or experience with evidenced based practice related to individual and family therapies. These may include but are not limited to Trauma Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, McMaster Model of Family Therapy, and/or Multi Systemic Therapy. · Eligible candidates will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and organizational skills and be able to balance priorities and work flexibly. · Excellent working knowledge of social service agencies and community resources. · An ability to anticipate, understand and respond to the needs of staff, clients, families and community partners. · Experience in setting priorities, program evaluation and reporting on program outcomes.
