Role Overview The Sales Consultant will be based in our office in Toronto and has the responsibility of introducing, developing and representing the Brightspark Education brand to schools across Canada. We are looking for individuals passionate about education and travel to sell experiential tours to Teachers, Parents and Students in your designated territory. The primary measurement of success for this role with be YOY growth in overall bookings. Key Responsibilities Achieve sales targets (comprised of mainly new sales development) Drive new Educational business and build relationships Manage all aspects and develop new clients within an assigned territory Maintain and grow profitability/margins within assigned territory Provide weekly reporting to the Education Sales Manager Work with the team to develop strategies that will drive future business within the Education Community Leverage Brightspark’s established brand equity within the educational/youth market and develop similar relationships. Embody Brightspark’s values and brand personality and represent within territory. Hunt and cold call various prospects and proactively develop your territory Follow-up leads generated from the marketing Champion and initiate loyal/long term client relationships All other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications Minimum Qualifications o University degree or diploma o 1-2 years’ proven sales experience o A valid Driver’s License and Passport o Detail and process focused o Has a strong work ethic o Strong presentation skills o Advanced time management skills o Excellent communication skills both written and verbal o Proficient with Microsoft products and CRM tools Preferred Qualifications o Knowledge of Travel Industry o Demonstrated Ability to drive new sales o Experience within a travel agency, educational institution or related industry/environment o Bilingual in French would be an asset
