Role Overview As an integralmember of the Logistics Team, this is a fantastic opportunity for thesuccessful candidate to add immediate value to the business and help drivegrowth. The role supports all elements of our Logistics operation ensuring thatwe meet customer expectations and demands. This role will focus on route planning, delivery optimisation and management of customer deliveries to meet customer delivery targets. The role is fast paced, handling a large amount of information from various sources. KeyResponsibilities Route Planning Manage daily orders to meet nationwidedelivery demands Plan effective routes for multi-dropdrivers. Keeping schedules in-line with lead-time expectations. Ensure all runs depart as scheduled,advising customers and re-booking if required Co-ordinate bulk trade deliveries withTrade Customers Customer Management Ensure administration of Customer Dataand planning is kept current and up to date Develop issue resolution techniques to supportcustomer demand Report on delivery analytics Book deliveries directly withcustomers, managing expectations at every step Appropriately escalate any customerissues that need resolving Fleet and VehicleManagement Support management of vehiclerequirements and maintenance schedules Ensure fleet optimisation andreliability working cross-functionally with the Facilities & MaintenanceManager Effectively capture driver feedback toresolve any challenges or issues Despatch Ensure wider Operations team have theappropriate information to load vehicles on time, and in full Work with wider Operations team todevelop Driver communication Co-ordinate postage of any itemsrequired to customers by working with the Supply Chain Team Co-ordinate with the Production Team to resolve any product challenges or requests KPIs Delivery Lead Time Fleet Efficiency Route Planning Deliveries Achieved OTIF Accurate administration including handling Customer data Key Requirements Experience in an administrative role Strong ability to navigate technical data Supply chain (purchasing, logistics, quality) or Customer Service experience advantageous Self-motivated, confident when dealing with senior stakeholders Strong technical/analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. The role requires strong Excel skills. Ability to forge close working relationships across a broad spectrum of individuals Work independently as well as part of a team Proven record of meeting deadlines, prioritising multiple tasks Ability to articulate and present information verbally and written
