The Department of Corrections is recruiting to fill an Education Director vacancy located at Wisconsin Secure Program Facility, located in Boscobel, WI (Grant County). Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Deputy Warden, the Education Director provides direct supervision and educational leadership to staff teaching Adult Basic Education, Special Education, Wisconsin Technical College System Career/Technical Education programs, and library services. This position supervises and evaluates assigned staff, including teachers, and Office Operation Associates. This position is also, responsible for serving as the Chief Examiner for GED/HSED examination. This position participates in performing various institution administrative duties and activities. This position implements Affirmative Action/Civil Rights Compliance plan within areas of responsibility in compliance with Federal and State Laws.
