We are now taking applications for our Manager in Training Program- this program does not begin until June of 2020 and is ideal for recent college grads or those looking to begin a career in the hospitality industry. The Wilderness Resort will be interviewing candidates for career development opportunities. The Management in Training (MIT) Program is a salaried position, designed to teach candidates about Wilderness, our people and practices over a 6-12 month period. Upon completion the candidate will be placed into an assistant manager or manager position based on resort needs. Wilderness Resort is investing in candidates to set the foundation for a successful career within our company. This program will have focused training in core departments together with training in other departments as appropriate. This program will offer candidates the ability to explore career opportunities and allow them to showcase their knowledge, talents, and abilities. Wilderness Resort is committed to providing exceptional guest service and exceeding our guests’ expectations. Each MIT will work closely with and be assigned a mentor from our executive level management team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or 5 years industry experience. Upon completion from the program: MIT will receive a certification of completion and placed into an Assistant Manager or Manager position based on resort needs or remain within the MIT program until a position becomes available.
