Can you establish rapport with customers and effectively lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve a goal? If so, we are certainly interested in speaking with you. Essential Functions Create machinery solutions for customer applications from concept to production. Provide technical leadership. Design high speed automated electro-mechanical equipment. Support production. Maintain engineering integrity and quality control. Qualifications Demonstrated Electro-Mechanical Machine design experience including industrial automation. Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks in high pressure environment. Work independently as a technical expert with minimal supervision or guidance. Experience with Solidworks design software. Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate complex and technical information to a range of audience skill levels. Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent – eligibility for P.Eng. in BC is an asset. 7 to 10 years work experience, preferably in the local manufacturing industry. Packaging machinery or corrugated industry experience an asset. Demonstrated strong knowledge and competency in following areas Knowledge of BOM’s, change orders and ERP/MRP systems an asset. Additional Requirements Periodic overtime if required Periodic travel possible including oversees travel for up to 5 consecutive days.
