We now have an opening for a Senior PR Manager to join our Marketing team at Head Office. The key focus of this role is to lead the Consumer (including main UK, Brand partners and China PR accounts) & Community PR plans for the UK In this role, you will be responsible for… Lead Function Consumer and Community PR Annual development of the Consumer and Community PR plan for the UK and management of the execution of PR for the marketing campaigns Develop media relations programme to include relevant journalist meetings/events throughout the year to ensure Westfield is front of mind for media Liaise with the Corporate and Country Marketing Teams on the development of PR strategies and budget allocation for the marketing action plans Liaise with the Brand Partners Team and Tourism Marketing manager to support the PR for these areas Manage the National community strategy to ensure the Westfield brand is positively perceived in the local and London communities, specifically related to the Save the Children charity partnership as well as all developments Ensure the key Regeneration and Community messaging is communicated across all relevant external platforms and to external stakeholders Communicate all community and charity activity internally to engage staff Development Management of the strategy and execution of the PR and community PR plans for Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City residential developments Work closely with the residential development teams, the centre Community mangers and wider centre teams to implement the PR plans Leasing Manage all Trade and consumer PR for New Openings Press Release writing /editing Work with new retailer PR teams re launch plans Manage Agency to implement B2B Social Strategy to support leasing Agency Management Day to day management of PR agency to seamlessly support across all PR areas whilst increasing the quality of coverage and delivering the PR target including key messages and impact targets. Status Update meetings for main UK account, plus China, Brand Ventures and Residential Development 6 monthly review to ensure agency on target and achieving across all KPIs Collate post analysis for PR & Community campaigns within national debrief template Team Admin Issue out daily media clipping to internal stakeholders Manage all PR and Monitoring Agency Media Reports Raise purchase orders according to Westfield policies and procedures and match invoices to purchase orders & Maintain PO & Invoice Tracker Support Function European Brand Roll Out & How We Shop Support on the development of the Consumer PR Strategy for the rebranded centres and work closely with the Group Comms Team and the Country Marketing Teams and Country PR agencies. Support on the development of at least one innovative and UK/global first PR concepts as part of How We Shop Now PR platform which can be used across the Group Crisis Comms Support on centre and corporate crisis comms including monitoring media /social media and development of media statements Internal Comms Drafting of the weekly internal comms materials and half year and end of year updates Support on the development and messaging for two business update presentations per year Developments Support on developments including Croydon, Milan and Westfield Mall of the Netherlands We’re looking for someone with.. Mid Level - Senior PR/Comms experience Excellent understanding of UK media and contacts Extensive retail and development knowledge Experience at working with a range of internal and external stakeholders including C-Suite level Understanding of Corporate Affairs and local and central government relations would be advantageous Event management experience would be advantageous Ability to multi-task and effectively manage business priorities Values & behaviours: Our values make us who we are.
