Do you have experience of delivering health related/community wellbeing services ? We’re looking for a dynamic manager with a passion for delivering services to those that most need it. Our wellbeing manager will manage a team of people whose role is to respond to social need and help prevent individuals and communities falling into crisis. You’ll need to have an open and honest approach and be a good communicator and have good IT skills. You will need to be an effective manager and able to manage a diverse team of people who are currently delivering housing related support services for Medway Council, a pilot for a rough sleeper service and support services for those with poor mental health. We are looking for someone that has experience of delivering commissioned services and has a track record of successful partnership working. You will manage the relationships with commissioners and partners, monitor the delivery of service level agreements and manage and maintain the team’s excellent performance. Knowledge of Quality Assessment Framework (QAF) would be an advantage as you will be responsible for statutory reporting of this and our KPIs. The need for health related/community wellbeing services in Kent is growing and we would want to grow the service to meet that increased demand. You will be expected to work with internal teams to research unmet need, develop plans to meet that need and identify and work with partners to create additional services. Experience of similar work would be an advantage as would an understanding of the services available throughout Kent. This role requires an enhanced DBS check (formerly CRB).
