ROLE We need an experienced Sr. Human Resources Classification Consultant to help an independent federal agency called the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC). RESPONSIBILITIES Revise and/or rewrite position descriptions for 8 General Schedule (GS) positions Revise and/or rewrite position descriptions for 10 Foreign Service National (FSN) positions Lead classification lifecycle from start to end Perform work in accordance with OPM standards BACKGROUND Progressive and relevant experience in human resources in federal government environments Experience with Foreign Service National (FSN) classifications Excellent knowledge of Federal Civil Service rules and regulations in multiple HR disciplines Excellent knowledge of federal staffing and classification Experience in leading, planning, and carrying out major projects impacting the human resources process, policy, and implementation procedures Mastery of complex HR principles and practices EDUCATION Preference for bachelor's degree JOB LOCATION 100% telework Arlington, VA 22201 West 4th Strategy is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action (EEO/AA) employer.
