Job Description: · Communication tower structural design, analysis, inspection and maintenance · Tower inspection and construction inspection · Office work as well as travel to various sites throughout the region · Working with project managers to ensure schedules and time lines are achieved · Foundation design and analysis Qualifications: · Structural Engineering Technology degree from a technical institution · Proficient AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word &Excel etc.). · Familiar with using structural analysis software (i.e. SAP2000, S-Frame, RISA3D, Guymaster) · Valid Drivers License · Willingness to travel for extended periods (4 weeks at a time) · Ability to climb telecommunication towers and wok at heights in all seasons · Be comfortable in small aircraft and helicopters · Ability to write technical reports, collect accurate field measurements and data · Must be authorized to work in Canada · Strong written and verbal skills · Clean Criminal record · Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and clients · Must be reliable, trustworthy and have a positive attitude!
