We have an excellent opportunity available for a Map Designer, who leads the creation and development of maps, plans and architectural representation for a major development client. This is a role for a creative individual with technical illustration and drawing skills, collaborating within a team environment. You will be an integral part of a creative process that delivers quality. We have a broad clientele listing, which includes retail, telco, property, broadcast, automotive, arts & culture. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Tertiary qualification in technical drawing, architecture or relevant fields will be highly regarded. 3+ years experience working in the architectural industry, creating map illustrations and technical drawings. A knowledge of 3D rendering, pre-press, basic coding and ESRI ArcGIS are required for this role. KEY ATTRIBUTES The ability to read and understand development survey plans. Previous experience in map or architectural drawing construction. Strong organisational and communication skills. Comprehensive knowledge of Rhino 3D and Adobe Creative suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign in a Mac environment. Demonstrated history of working to brand guidelines. The ability to effectively self manage workflow in a high output environment. Strong commitment to quality & a proven high level of accuracy. Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment. A team player with an enthusiastic attitude, and a strong desire to widen your knowledge base and practical skills.
