Summary The Global Logistics Specialist facilitates the on-time, in-full transportation of products from one destination to another to meet customer demand across all modes of transport. Utilize SAP and a variety of different systems/platforms to manage trade flow, communicate with LSP's, transmit documentation and provide visibility to our customers Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met Liaise with key internal/external partners such as procurement, suppliers, manufacturers, logistics service providers, and customers to arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand Prepare and distribute documentation as needed to support order fulfillment and logistics Communicate special customer requirements to the warehouses and internal teams Analyze all transportation cost savings opportunities to determine best rate, compare carriers and determine which carriers to ship with Work with the leadership team to streamline shipping and optimize transportation processes Take proactive measures to resolve customer issues or concerns Communicate with the customer throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to ensure visibility to goods Communicate and coordinate with Weber nominated logistics service providers Prepare reporting as needed for Weber internal teams and customers Work with leadership to troubleshoot and resolve constraints in the order-to-cash process Adhere to departmental policies and procedures Cross-training within all delivery logistics functional areas to allow flexibility across teams during peak business periods Facilitate movement of Supplier product throughout the Weber supply chain Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED required.
