As Head of Marketing based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, you will lead our marketing activities for the company. This gives you a lot of opportunities to shape WeTravel's marketing strategy and initiatives moving forward. We expect you to be an all-rounder generalist who is ready to not only think strategically but also to get your hands dirty. You will work closely with management to establish WeTravel's brand as a thought leader in the industry. You will build and own the relationships with the press, influencers, and the media. You will work with the sales team to build powerful sales collateral. You will manage the day-to-day operations of our content marketing, social media, and public relations. You will be a standout candidate if you have experience building an exciting brand in a traditionally unexciting industry or in a crowded market. Your focus: Design a cost-effective marketing strategy for our growing business Identify and develop WeTravel's brand messaging strategy as a thought leader in the industry Write and coordinate powerful editorial pieces that represent our voice in the industry Build and own relationships with journalists and influencers in online and offline media Manage the day-to-day operations of content marketing, social media, and public relations (in-house team and external consultants) Develop, review, and update all marketing and sales collaterals Distribute and promote content effectively You will also uphold our four core values: Be the solution - take ownership, drive collaboration Be resourceful - strive for new wins every day Be honest - default to transparency Be respectful - treat others like you want to be treated Requirements: You have 7+ years of experience in marketing management in technology or SaaS businesses You have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in the area of marketing, communications, journalism, or multimedia-related disciplines. You have experience developing a unique and memorable brand in a crowded market or in a traditionally unexciting industry. You have exceptional English copywriting skills (native or near-native). You are verbally articulate and skilled at telling a story. You're a natural project manager with the ability to meet deadlines and stay focused on results. You have a fantastic eye for detail - others will be relying on you as the last check before things go to print or are projected on a wall as big as a house!
