BLÜCHER Metal A/S, a part of Watts Water Technologies, is looking for a Technical Supporter for our office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. BLÜCHER is a globally leading manufacturer of stainless steel drainage solutions for industrial, e.g. food and beverage, commercial and housing applications. As our Technical Supporter you will specialize in understanding the products and in deriving solutions and benefits from these. The role requires strong technical and product expertise, including a well-founded understanding of the functions and components that make the products work in a complete solution. You will promote and sell the products by demonstrating their technical capabilities and how they add value to the customer’s business. Responsibilities and duties: As our Technical Supporter, you will be working in a global role. Among your duties will be: Conducting technical training towards customers and BLÜCHER coworkers Putting together technical proposals and tender documents Providing customers with technical advice about the advantages of particular solutions or products Arranging customer meetings to introduce new products and solutions Meeting with technical consultants and architects to get specified Availability to travel 40-60 days yearly Providing internal technical support to the global sales team Keeping up to date with competitors’ activities and technical features Advising customers of new technical updates and products Aligning with the company’s global sales strategy and targets Sourcing new potential customers and maintaining regular contact with existing customers Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and customer meetings Site supervisions Education: The position requires a commercial background with a technical engineering education. Could be a bachelor in Engineering or similar. Qualifications: Experience in CRM system - “Salesforce” Strong international experience with technical sales, preferably within the plumbing industry Ability to work independently Communication skills: Fluent in English. Technical problem solving skills Experience in making sales presentations and speeches in front of customers High experience in reading AutoCad drawings or similar BLÜCHER can offer you more than a job.
