Our Building Services team is currently recruiting for a mechanically biased engineer to support the business in maintaining the quality of our design output to ensure it continues to be of the highest quality and is compliant with all relevant standards. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic enhancement of our current working practices in both the design and standardisation of our production output across our Building Services business. While the role is predominately based in Leeds, there will be a degree of travelling to all our various offices across the UK, to meet and collaborate with the office Directors and their Engineers. Working with the Technical Director currently fulfilling this role electrically, you will be responsible for reviewing all design output for a variety of mechanical designs, checking for their accuracy, as well as assisting in the development and implementation of standardised methods across the business. The role will also involve the production of feasibility designs at RIBA stages 1 & 2, for development by our Engineers. To fulfil this role you will need to be degree qualified and be C.Eng. & MCIBSE. You will need to demonstrate experience gained over a prolonged period in the production and delivery of building services mechanical designs across a variety of sectors and be an effective communicator, both verbally and in the production of reports.
