Supportive team environment Income protection and Life insurance On-going Training and development Summary: This is an exciting Laboratory Technician opportunity focused on producing analytical results and carrying associated laboratory activities such as sampling that meet the needs of customers. Reporting to the Laboratory Operations Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to deliver a range of quality scientific services for customers in Water Testing. We have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Sampling Technician to join our team and support our current and future growth initiatives across our North Island Laboratories. In this role you will be; Sampling Potable, Environmental and Waste Water and producing quality analytical results to ensure effective services to clients and supporting general laboratory functions Maintain QA/QC standards (maintenance of IANZ Accreditation and keeping departmental QA/QC documents, procedures and records up-to-date) Liaise and develop strong relationships with customers Initiate continuous improvement in business performance Ability to travel and relocate to future Lab locations outside of Auckland The preferred attributes for this role include: A BSc in Environmental Science or equivalent with evidence of having completed courses. Water Sampling experience. Proven experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems such as LabWare7. Experience with Laboratory Quality Assurance and Quality Control programmes. Please note that the successful candidate will need to be able to travel across the North Island and be based across our North Island laboratory locations. What do we offer?
