We are looking for someone to work in our Building Performance Management team to provide Energy Performance Certificates and review the wider performance of the building in terms of productivity and health and wellbeing. You will be working with our asset manager clients to ensure they are compliant in the area of energy and environmental performance and identifying opportunities to improve the performance of their buildings and businesses from a wider perspective. The role sits in a wider Sustainable Places, Energy and Waste team that provide sustainability advice for new developments of all scales and technical advisory work in energy technologies. A typical week would include: Ensure Energy Performance Certificates are provided in an accurate manner Undertake domestic and commercial building energy audits Design and deliver sustainability, energy efficiency and low carbon performance strategies Analysing and reporting sustainability data on monthly, quarterly and annual routines to underpin our client’s sustainability programmes Current experience managing accounts for energy and sustainability in buildings Enabling clients to optimise their portfolios – health and wellbeing, productivity, sustainability Health, wellbeing and productivity assessments Enabling clients to be “future ready” – Demographics, technology, climate change Increasing our team and WSP’s profile in the market We'd love to hear from you if you have: Experience undertaking energy calculations for commercial and residential properties in order to generate EPCs (Level 4 NDEA and/or DEA certification) Experience in completing energy audits and recommending work to improve the energy efficiency of properties (ESOS Lead Assessor Qualified) Good working knowledge of energy modelling, including asset and operational ratings/assessments, UK energy and sustainably policy framework and legislation Technical expertise in buildings and the wider built environment including the impact of sustainability themes on core investment and management of assets in the property sector Experience in development and maintenance of close client and partner relationships, being responsible for client satisfaction, timely delivery, project financial management and high-quality technical outputs Understanding of wider sustainability and Health & Wellbeing in the built environment Skills in coaching and collaborations cross-functionally to deliver the best outcomes for clients Good written and verbal communication skills What if we can?
