HV PROJECT ENGINEER (M/F) Our Center of Expertise Business Line is looking for an HV Project Engineer for the supervision of the transmission line /substation activities (engineering, construction and commissioning) with the following responsibilities: Follow-up with the grid operator; Integration of HV, MV and LV systems and equipment’s and ensure smooth interfaces between civil, electrical and mechanical activities; Coordination and supervision of on-site assembly of HV, MV and LV systems and equipment’s; Coordination and supervision of on-site testing; Coordination, supervision and participation of on-site commissioning of HV, MV and LV systems and equipment’s; Coordination of contract with subcontractor up to complete handover and punch list resolution; Support during handover to grid operator. Analysis of RfG and GIS information of the items who impact in the Interconnection Station and Transmission Line. 2 QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have/ be: Master of Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar; Proven experienced proof of Electrical Power Systems in the field of Transmission and Distribution Systems with at least 5 years’ experience; Very knowledgeable in HV, MV and LV systems and equipment’s; Good knowledge on the following: o HV, MV and LV system design; o HV and MV gas Insulated switchgear; o HV and MV substation components (circuit breakers, voltage transformers, current transformers, switches, insulators, surge arrestor, capacitors,); o Substation auxiliary equipment’s (batteries, UPS, LV distribution panels, …); o HV, MV and LV cables; o Overhead lines; o Earthing grids of substations; o Lightning Protection; Fluent in English (French or other languages would be a plus). 3 Key Skills: Used to work with international, multi-cultural teams, in multiple times zones; Proactive, independent and self-dependent working; Analytical thinking on site crisis situations; High motivation and leadership skills; Relations and trust build skills and high integrity; Good communication and team skills, with ability to work in across functional team; Very good planning skills.
