We are now looking for a Head of IT Operations to oversee all of our IT functions within Voi. This is a new position within the Voi family, where you will take part in shaping the IT function and the company as a whole. You will play an important role in enabling Voi to achieve its potential through leveraging the technology operations and implementation of new IT tools and policies. THE POSITION As Head of IT Operations, you are directly reporting to the Deputy CEO/CFO where you will be the expert in all things IT, responsible for the management, strategy and execution of IT infrastructure. You will ensure that IT systems and in the end Voi is run in an efficient and compliant way. As Head of IT Operations you will: Review the use of IT-tools, equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and ways of working and implement strategic solutions Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies together with management Ensure all IT software, cloud services and ways of working are compliant to modern standards and laws such as GDPR Deliver reliable, secure and efficient IT tools including, negotiating with suppliers to find highly cost efficient and scalable solutions Coordinate and work closely with the IT managers responsible for our hardware and software department to work on roll-out and deployment of hardware and software standardization Be the overall responsible for IT security and Information security activities and policies QUALIFICATIONS We believe that our future colleague have several years of experience running all critical aspects of an IT department including be familiar with new trends in the field, both technological and compliance. As we only use cloud-based infrastructure including Gsuite, Slack, Tableau and Confluence it is important that you are experienced working with these. You have a reliable ability to identify and prioritize the agenda for the function and take initiative wherever needed, ensuring delivery of agreed actions. You are adaptable to changing circumstances and flexible when it comes to the dynamic growth of a startup. We also see that you meet the following requirements: Minimum of 8 years of IT related experience (It Manager or similar) Sound understanding of computer systems (Hardware/Software), networks etc. Experienced with B2C payment solutions, Netsuite Cloud ERP, ERP implementations, new generation databases, Tableau is meritorious Experience in working with compliance to industry standards and laws such as GDPR Good communication skills, able to clarify and present cases to the management and the organisation.
