Overview: Vix Technology leads the way in transport ticketing, implementing and managing electronic fare collection, payments, access and passenger information systems. Our solutions help transport authorities ease passenger movement and embrace new innovations, to provide the most efficient transit system possible for their passengers. Due to continued success we are looking for a Contract Manager to advise Vix Technology’s in relation to key contractual matters, contract negotiations with Customers or Suppliers including assessment and management of commercial models and/or risks from new bids of existing Customers. The Contracts Manager will report into the Head of Legal EMEA, as well as working with Project Managers, Programme Manager and Business Analysts on key accounts and to update contractual requirements where required. Our ideal candidate will Degree educated in a relative subject, law, Business etc, and will have successful demonstrable experience in Contracts Management and in particular tendering to the Public Sector in Belgium/France. Due to the nature of the role, a high level of English and French language ability is required and understanding of the technology/payment industry and would be advantageous. This role can will be ideally based in Brussels to enable close alignment to our Key Customer base. Responsibilities: Work with Project Managers, Programme Manager and Business Analysts on key accounts and to update contractual requirements where required. Draft delay notices, change requests, advise on cost modelling, prepare related documents and distribute as necessary. Advise the business in relation to key contractual matters, contract negotiations with Customers or Suppliers including assessment and management of commercial models and/or risks from new bids of existing Customers. Support business development through review and analysis of new tenders and drafting appropriate contract terms and conditions. Conduct research as appropriate, analyse and report on business risks to Head of Legal in proposals, projects and operations and act as first point of escalation for contractual matters. Improve and streamline internal Corporate Services business systems as instructed. Managing and developing in-life contracts and advising the business relative to contractual rights and obligations affecting Vix. Ensure the Vix French/Belgian business (and Vix Corporate, as required) is compliant with applicable standards and with Vix strategic objectives. Develop and maintain the Customer/Supplier database and file accordingly on Legal Repository. Qualifications: Essential Degree in law, Business or equivalent. Advanced computer skills, including MS Office. Strong analytical, interpretation, problem solving and research skills. Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritise. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High level of business acumen, relationship management and strong attention to detail. Native French with English as a second language.
