Food Service Associate - Kayne Anderson Rudnick - Los Angeles, CA RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares and cooks food products for staff and clients; manages all aspects of food preparation and presentation. Prepare nutritious meals and refreshments. Timely preparation of meals and meeting set-ups Ensures appropriate table setting and presentations for meetings. Breakdown settings after meetings. Ensures optimum service to all clients Maintain a clean kitchen, load and unload dishwasher & wash remaining dishes Manages maintenance & cleanliness of all kitchen equipment. Ensures all kitchen and food operations are in compliance with all legislated health and licensing guidelines; ensures adherence to all health and safety regulations and procedures. Stock Requisitions and/or purchases all food products & kitchen supplies Visually inspect quality of food presentation. Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously Performs other duties as assigned by manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a recognized culinary school or equivalent. At least 2 years related experience or equivalent. Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions Commitment to excellence and high standards Passion, enthusiasm, focus, creativity, and a positive outlook. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm Acute attention to detail Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to manage priorities and workflow Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
