About us Victorian Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) provides leadership for Victoria’s tourism and events industry through our powerful ‘One Voice’ advocacy and representation. VTIC plays an important role in representing Victoria's tourism and events industry to all levels of Government on issues that affect the way our members do business. VTIC operates under the auspices of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Victorian Chamber), Victoria’s largest and most influential employer association. VTIC manages the Quality Tourism Framework (QTF) in Victoria. The QTF incorporates the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program, Star Ratings Australia and the Australian Tourism Awards business development and quality assurance programs that cater to all tourism businesses. The QTF encourages a commitment to professionalism and establishes industry standards for operating a tourism business, providing a framework for the continuous improvement of small to large organisations. About the role We have an excellent opportunity for a tourism graduate to join the VTIC team and assist in the delivery of the QTF program. The role will focus on the administration of the accreditation and Star Ratings programs in Victoria. Reporting to the Industry Development Coordinator, you will assist with the effective administration, verification and promotional duties for the QTF. To ensure the program remains trusted and recognised, you will provide high quality customer service support to accredited businesses, be conscientious in your work and support a wide range of stakeholders Additionally, working around the requirements of the QTF program administration, this role will also provide administrative support to the wider VTIC team. About You We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic new team member who’s passionate about the tourism and events sector. You’ll have excellent customer service skills and working knowledge of marketing principles. You can also demonstrate how your administrative, attention to detail and communication skills have assisted in driving business outcomes.
