Vestas CEO > Sales > Global Construction Management Vestas Global Construction Management, established under the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), is a bridge to the regional Sales Business Units to improve the company's revenue by promoting top-line construction business development. We do that by increasing the Vestas scope e.g. EPC/Plant Sales Solutions and keep focus on continuous cost improvement by coordinating global construction/project improvement initiatives. Global Construction is integrated by four sub areas: Global EPC (Energy Performance Contracting), Global Planning, Global Construction Engineering and Cost Engineering. All anchored in a centralised function in the Vestas Commercial office situated in Copenhagen. In this position you will report directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) for Global Construction. Responsibilities A big part of your daily work will be to organise and handle the SVP’s calendar, make appointments and identify and resolve calendar conflicts. In addition, your responsibilities will cover: Travel and expense management including arranging travels, submitting and processing expense reports in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy Plan and organise meetings/events with focus on aligning calendars and anticipating necessary materials, preparation, venues, accommodation, food and beverages Various communication tasks such as producing high quality presentations, documents, briefing papers, and reports Assist with and coordinate budget related matters in collaboration with Finance business partners Ensure diligent follow-up on tasks for SVP, including timely delivery of required information from all stakeholders Act as single point of contact for the Global Construction team and support the team on different matters such as onboarding new employees, control and approve purchase orders, provide administrative support etc Besides the above-mentioned responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to participate in and direct ad hoc projects. Qualifications Your background should include solid experience with calendar management, travel arrangements, report and presentation development, expense management, answering phones, processing mail and scheduling meetings. In addition: You speak and write English fluently You have an educational background at bachelors’ level or higher You have 3+ years of experience in providing administrative support to executive level roles You possess advanced proficiency in working with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe) Proven experience in effectively anticipating requirements of executives and ability to set priorities You have international experience preferably from a large global organisation Competencies Professional and dedicated by nature with a solid sense of delivering good quality A structured approach and great time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise Ability to perform multiple tasks without losing track of the necessary details Great communication skills both verbally and written Significant social skills enabling you to build good relations with stakeholders Demonstrated innovative approach to problem-solving and ability to use your judgment and make decisions Resourceful team player with the ability to also work independently in an efficient way Finally, it is important that you are honest and reliable as maintaining confidentiality is a fundamental requirement in this role.
