Job Description Perform laboratory analysis and other tasks following established procedures in full compliance with current governmental regulations, official compendia and any other policy / regulation to generate reliable and timely results, in order to comply with releases due date, reducing cycle time, and providing internal and external customer satisfaction. Train the manufacturing personnel in environmental monitoring sampling and other aseptic processing techniques. Oversee sample collection form production areas. Generate Microbiology Laboratory Investigation Reports (MLIR) and assist in the investigations. Understand, interpret and apply compendial testing. Operate laboratory equipment. Among other tasks. Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology or Medical Technology. 2 years experience in a Microbiology Laboratory of a Pharmaceutical Industry. Knowledge in general laboratory instrumentation such as incubators, sterilizers, oven, scales, pH meters, air samplers, microscopes, Biohazards and Laminar Flow Hoods Knowledge in laboratory aseptic procedures, cGMP, GLP and FDA regulations in a pharmaceutical industry Additional Information Positions available for Puerto Rico.
