About the role Pay Details: Grade 6 SCP 14-19 (£22,462 – 24,799) p.a. Manylion am gyflog: Gradd 6 SCP 14-19 (£22,462 – 24,799) y.f. Hours of Work: 37 hours Monday – Thursday 8.30 – 5.00, Friday 8.30 – 4.30 Location: Docks Office Description: Provide a direct social work service to children, young people and their families/carers, in line with the relevant legislation, guidance, regulations and national standards including supporting individuals with learning or physical disabilities to develop skills for independent living. About you You will need: Experience of working with children, young people and their families Knowledge of Principles of the 1989 Children Act. Awareness of Child Protection and Risk Assessment. Ability to negotiate and liaise with individuals and agencies. A good general standard of education.
