VIKING Life-Saving Equipment is a global leader in maritime safety, and we are looking for our future business stars. The 2-year programme Being a Graduate at VIKING means being part of a two-year entry-level programme designed to provide new graduates with a solid foundation for a successful career at VIKING. Primarily you will be based in one unit of the company from where you’ll be rotating to different departments in the unit. During rotations you will also be introduced to the key business units of the company - giving you a wide knowledge scope of the VIKING organization. The Programme provides deep insight in VIKING as well as extensive and focused training - to best prepare you to become a key player in the VIKING force. Abroad experience Additionally, in a monthly period of the programme you will be stationed abroad at one of VIKING’s many subsidiaries (Such as Singapore, Shanghai, Dubai etc.). To be eligible, you must have completed a tertiary qualification (such as a bachelor’s degree). Required qualifications and experience Are ambitious and hard-working, with an international business approach Are quality oriented and results driven with good problem solving skills Thrive on challenges. You enjoy having many things to do at the same time and working in a regularly changing environment in an autonomous role Have a natural flair for creative solutions – great ideas and innovation come naturally to you and you’re not afraid of putting forward your suggestions Are proactive and feel comfortable with a wide range of challenges and demonstrate responsibility Are a good team player Possess a global mindset and are willing to not only travel during the program, but be open to be based abroad in a mid to long term period Have excellent command of oral and written English.
