VHB’s growing South Burlington, VT office is seeking an entry level Transportation Traffic Engineer to join our Transportation group. VHB’s passionate professionals include engineers, scientists, planners, and designers who partner with public and private clients in the transportation, real estate, institutional, and energy industries, as well as federal, state, and local governments. Together, we work to improve mobility, enhance communities and economic vitality, and balance development and infrastructure needs with environmental stewardship. Responsibilities Working within a team of professionals in developing traffic and transportation planning and engineering solutions for a multitude of transportation projects Traffic data collection and tabulation Intersection and roadway level of service analyses Development, analysis and evaluation of traffic improvements Prepare written planning documents, summarize information collected by others, and assemble reports Design of traffic control devices Roadway and intersection design Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field 0-3 years of civil/transportation engineering/planning experience Experience with AutoCAD a plus Experience with Synchro and HCS a plus Please submit applications online.
