This is an exciting opportunity for a strong UI designer with solid UX skills to join our design consultancy based in East London. Key attributes: Fantastic UI designer with good cross device experience and a portfolio to match - mobile, tablet, desktop Experience of working on product application projects - web or native (iOS/Android) Ability to work alone, in a team, with remote teams and directly with clients at their offices Great problem solver who can convey solutions through sketches and diagrams and not just hi-fidelity mockups Ability to create engaging marketing pages that drive conversions Strong editorial design is essential to make text heavy pages accessible and engaging Strong understanding of interaction design (no coding skills required) Great understanding of typography for the web Ability to create strong illustrations, icon designs as well as manipulate photography Good communication skills Nice to have: Display advertising (animated) and email design Nice to have: User journey mapping and wireframing skills The role will be approximately 80% UI and 20% UX but the right candidate will be expected to contribute to all aspects of the project lifecycle from concepts through to documentation. You will be a versatile designer that enjoys a challenge - client work is carried out in our offices in Hackney as well collaboratively with the client so you will need to be confident and comfortable working in both scenarios.
