Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plans, organizes, develops and delivers client-requested projects within prescribed time schedule Manages client databases utilizing Urban Science proprietary software Tracks, processes, analyzes and verifies data Creates and generates client reports and deliverables Completes tasks and develops solutions that meet requested specifications Maintains software systems Adheres to quality control standards for Urban Science and client organizations Other duties as assigned Qualifications - Education and Experience: QUALIFICATIONS: Fundamental understanding of database concepts in order to complete client requests which require gathering and manipulating data manually from multiple databases. MS Excel knowledge for charting and graphing of data, writing formulas within cells, and/or filtering, sorting, and formatting data. Ability to collaborate, team orientation College level math skills and solid mathematical grounding required Statistical analysis software program skills to create scatter plots, bar charts and histograms and basic descriptive statistics Knowledge of relational database fundamentals, including creating and executing queries, creating scripts, importing/exporting data, and manipulating data Verbal and written communicating skills preferably in English and the local area language Ability to analyze problems and identify alternative solutions, applying appropriate Urban Science methodology EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Baccalaureate degree in a technical field (engineering, applied math, computer science, applied science, MIS, or other). Master's degree is preferred 1 year of experience in Operations Department of equivalent Knowledge of SQL is preferred. If candidate does not have minimum SQL knowledge, they must have some fundamental computer programming knowledge and math skills. Technical skills necessary to support Urban Science systems Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel skills are required Must have demonstrated programming proficiency, preferably in VB or C++
