We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to provide an effective, well-presented reception service ensuring a high-quality customer experience and a first point of contact for our busy estate and facilities team at our University based in Canterbury. Dealing with a variety of customers, you will have flexibility, patience and a customer focused attitude and be able to multi-task in a busy environment. You will ensure enquiries are dealt with in an efficient manner, as well as process mails and deliveries. You will therefore possess good organisational skills and assist in the coordination of key services to the site. You will have good interpersonal skills as there will be daily contact with staff, students and the general public. You will also be able to work on your own initiative and be flexible in your approach to work. An awareness of basic IT is essential The opening hours for Reception are Monday to Friday, 08:45 – 17:15. Working in a shift with others, the post holder must be available to work from 08:45 – 13:45 and be flexible in covering colleagues’ absences at Canterbury or Rochester Campus. The part time hours are 25 hours per week.
